The original Legend of Zelda, released back in 1986, has given birth to a worldwide cult following made up of fans of all ages, genders, and nationalities. Back in 2008, the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition stated that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the highest rated game of all time with an overall rating of 97.7% according to gamerankings.com. The franchise now consists of 18 major titles with more in the works, therefore making it the longest running action-adventure series to date. The series also set a record for being one of the only franchise to have multiple games with perfect review ratings.
Despite the franchise's undoubted success, the series leaves many questions up for fans to debate. The sheer number of games brings up the most controversial question of all: 'What order do the games of the series belong in?' This question has been up for discussion since the franchise's 8-bit beginnings, and it isn't the only one. The Legend of Zelda leaves many small, yet tantalizing questions unanswered that always keep fans interested in the progression of the series. Is the Triforce actually a 'Tetraforce'? What happens to Navi at the end of Ocarina of Time? Who really created Majora's Mask? The series is chock full of mysteries and hidden Easter eggs, some of which pay homage to Shigeru Miyamoto's other hit franchise, Super Mario Bros. Fans haven't been shy about finding, and coming up with potential answers to the many questions left for fans in the Zelda universe.

15 Origin Of Dark Link
Dark Link has quickly become one of the most enigmatic, and popular characters in The Legend of Zelda series. Dark Link is a direct reflection of the darkness within Link. Whenever Link must square off against Dark Link, he is battling a part of himself. Perhaps it's the mystery surrounding this character that has fans so interested.
He is often seen as a final challenge, or ultimate boss. In Ocarina of Time, Dark Link's number of hearts is directly dependent upon the number of hearts Link has acquired up until that particular point. Some believe Dark Link isn't really a character at all, but a mere reflection cast with dark magic. If that is the case, then who is casting the spell?
14 Kokiri Into Koroks
The Kokiri race of forest creatures are first seen in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and appear to be Link's people. It's not long after that Link realizes he is actually a Hylian knight, and not, in fact, Kokiri. That doesn't answer the popular fan question. What happened to them after Ocarina of Time? The question was answered with the release of the popular title The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
The Kokiri race was turned into Koroks after the great flood, for reasons unknown. The Koroks are still guarded by the Great Deku Tree in the Forest Haven, and their mission has been to spread their seeds across Hyrule in an attempt to reunite the islands into one vast forest. The change from Kokiri to Korok appears to be a somewhat lazy attempt at adding a more 'cartoon' element to The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

13 Link's Sister
It turns out that Link, the legendary Hero of Time, has a sibling! Link's sister, Aryll, maker her first appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Aryll and her grandmother live on Onset Island with Link.
The Helmaroc King kidnaps Aryll, in turn, setting Link of a quest to rescue his missing sister. Aryll ultimately ends up spending the majority of her time in The Wind Waker traveling on Tetra's pirate ship, and sending her brother letters throughout his journey. This has led many fans to speculate about her whereabouts in other games, and —in a sinister way— if maybe she materializes as the love interesting The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. think this is too much? Wait until you read the fan fictions. Gulp.
12 Ghost Hunter's Identity
https://yzufeew.weebly.com/blog/spyagent-6-4-rapidshare. The Ghost Hunter is a character in The Legend of Zelda series that first makes an appearance in Ocarina of Time. He will buy Poes, or ghost spirits, collected by Link throughout the game. Fans of the franchise have come up with multiple theories on what the identity of this mysterious character may be.
Some fans believe that the Ghost Hunter is actually, in fact, a fallen Hylian soldier that child Link runs in to at a small guard house near the entrance to Hyrule Castle Town. Others believe the Ghost Hunter is a young boy that young Link can be seen playing in Kakariko Village by the graveyard. There is also a theory that the Ghost Hunter is the hooded figure that helps lead adult Link to the Lens of Truth that is hidden in the well.

11 Navi's Disappearance
Every Legend of Zelda fan wants to know. What on earth happened to Navi at the end of Ocarina of Time? In the Hyrule Historia, an official guide to The Legend of Zelda, it states that Navi is, in fact, the one Link is looking for at the start of his journey in the game's sequel, Majora's Mask.
While Navi may be the one Link is looking for, fans still have no official confirmation on where Navi ended up going after Link completed his journey in Ocarina of Time. https://xpressclever316.weebly.com/blog/download-game-of-thrones-season-6-subtitles-shaanig. The most logical guess? Navi left because her mission had been accomplished when Link defeated his nemesis Ganon at the end of Ocarina of Time.
10 The Fourth Triforce Piece: The 'Tetraforce' Theory
The Triforce is an extremely symbolic part of The Legend of Zelda franchise. After the release of Ocarina of Time, the 'Tetraforce' theory was born, as Link's Hylian shield shows what appears to be a fourth Triforce piece located on the very bottom of the shield's design that seems to fit perfectly in the middle of the known Triforce.
For there to be a fourth Triforce piece, there would have to be a fourth Golden Goddess, as they were the ones who originally created the Triforce pieces. Some fans believe that Princess Zelda herself is indeed the fourth Golden Goddess, but there is no real evidence to support this. Despite the extremely clever idea, Nintendo and Legend of Zelda creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, stated that there is indeed no 'Tetraforce,' and in fact changed the shield's design in future games with the intention of putting an end to the fan theory once and for all.

9 Talon Is Actually Mario
Some fans may remember Talon, the owner of Lon Lon Ranch. Fans immediately spotted the obvious similarities between Talon, and the main protagonist, Mario, of the equally famous Super Mario Bros series. Talon sports his blue overalls and red shirt, as well as, a gold pendant resembling Mario's arch enemy, Bowser. His facial features also resemble Mario's, like his big nose and facial hair.
As if that wasn't evidence enough, Talon makes another appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons where he looks even more like Mario. Makeup apps for mac. Talon's mustache is identical to Mario's, and he sports a cap with an 'M' symbol clearly visible on its front. With all this evidence, it is completely clear that this was an intentional move by Miyamoto to pay homage to his equally successful Super Mario Bros.
8 Majora's Mask: The Five Stages Of Grief
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is by far the darkest, and most serious game in the entire franchise to date. Fan theorists state that the game is actually based on the five stages of grief. They include: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. These are said to be the series of emotional states people go through to deal with grief.
The denial stage is believed to be portrayed by the people of Clock Town, as they refuse to acknowledge the fact that the moon's falling is imminent. Anger is represented by the enraged Deku of Woodfall, and bargaining by the desperate Goron Darmani. Depression is clearly portrayed by the Zora Lulu in Great Bay who is grieving over her stolen eggs. The acceptance stage is reserved for the hero Link himself. Once he has brought peace to everyone he has encountered, Link must finally look inside himself and disperse his own darkness.

7 Fate Of The Gerudo
The Gerudo are a race made up almost entirely of females with only one male being born every 100 years, that male being their king. Despite playing an important role in the series, they only make big appearances in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. This begs the question. Where did the Gerudo go, and why don't they appear in the other big games of the series?

In the adult timeline Link defeats Ganon; therefore, fans theorize that the Gerudo were defeated along with him. In the downfall timeline, Link is defeated, so it isn't as clear as to why the Gerudo might have disappeared. Fans believe there is a chance Ganon, having succeeded in taking over Hyrule, slaughtered them in a display of power. As of now, fans can't say for sure, but there is always a chance the answers will be revealed in due time.
6 The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Dream
Ever notice that a large number of games in The Legend of Zelda series begin with Link awakening from his slumber? Well, some fans have come to the conclusion that every game in the series is all just a figment of Link's imagination, and is all just part of one big dream. With the existence of so many different Links, there is a chance that he is just recalling the memories of past Links.
Super Mario Bros. 2 was revealed to all be Mario's dream, so it is likely that The Legend of Zelda series could very well be a dream also. Burnin rubber 5 hacked version bandicam. The dream theory generally isn't well received by fans, as it adds a pointless element to a very well-received series.

5 Single Link Theory
The number of different timelines in The Legend of Zelda universe begs the question. Are they all different Links? Some fans believe that they may not be all different Links, but one in the same. This was one of the most popular fan theories, and had a huge following up until the release of The Wind Waker in 2003 when creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, announced that there are in fact different Links in different timelines.
In Skyward Sword, Link is known as the 'Hero of the Skies,' and 'Hero of the Minish' in Minish Cap. There are also the 'Four Who Are One' from Four Swords, and the 'Hero of Time' in Ocarina of Time, as well as, Majora's Mask. Link is known as the 'Hero Chosen by the Gods' in Twilight Princess, and the 'Hero of the Winds' in Wind Waker. Link appears as the 'Hero of Hyrule' in the original Legend of Zelda. Despite the multitude of timelines in the Zelda universe, Link always is the hero, and his design stays relatively similar.
4 Super Mario In The Zelda Universe
It's no surprise that loved creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, paid homage to his successful Super Mario Bros franchise in The Legend of Zelda series. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time contains multiple shout-outs to the Super Mario franchise.
Princess Zelda's courtyard in Ocarina of Time 3D is in fact directly based off a level in New Super Mario Bros. Activation keygen license server terminal server. Mario, Yoshi, and other character portraits can be seen hanging on the wall. The Characters Talon and Ingo are direct representations of Mario and Luigi. The Happy Mask Salesman in Majora's Mask appears to be covered in masks that pay tributes to various famous pop culture icons, and video game characters. Big developers including easter eggs in popular games of all kinds is a trend that won't be vanishing anytime soon.

2 Creation Of Majora's Mask
Many have contemplated how Majora's Mask actually came about. The mask itself is most commonly seen being worn by the antagonist, Skull Kid, who uses it to cause mischief and destruction across the world of Termina. The mask is said to have been created by an 'Ancient Tribe', but that is as far as the details go.
Fans have come up with a multitude of theories to how the mask came to be. The most popular, and current fan theory is that the mask was created by the villains in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Zant, the main antagonist in Twilight Princess, is seen sporting a pattern that very much resembles the pattern on Majora's mask. Could the Twili tribe be the ancient tribe that the Hyrule Historia refers to?

1 Death Mountain And Dragon Roost Island
Fans have speculated that Death Mountain in the kingdom of Hyrule is also Dragon Roost Island in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. There is solid evidence to prove this theory. Dragon Roost Island is chock-full of Goron resembling statues scattered all over the island. Both the mountain, and the island have a large ring of smoke encircling the top.
They are both volcanoes with lava fields around the peaks. Bomb flowers can be found growing on Dragon Roost Island, and in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a Goron tells Link that bomb flowers are mining plants that only grow on Death Mountain. The residential area of Dragon Roost Island is the same corkscrew shape as Goron City in Ocarina of Time. Even the marking on the walls are similar!
